An opportunity to explore the majestic Suffolk Coast and the region that inspired the artist John Constable, whilst it glints in Autumn Gold. The communities of Lavenham, Dedham and Flatford provide a perfect blend of natural beauty complemented by subtle additions by humanity: the timber framed building are simply enchanting. Half board accommodation is provided at the Salthouse Harbour Hotel. A modern warehouse conversion overlooking the Neptune Marina in Ipswich. It is a short walk to the historic town centre. There is a lift. All rooms are en-suite with TV, hair dryer, tea & coffee making facilities and WiFi.  

Provisional Itinerary:

Day 1: Mid-morning departure from the Midlands, arriving at our hotel mid-afternoon.

Day 2: Leisurely excursion to Aldeburgh and Southwold.

Day 3: Full day excursion visiting Dedham, Flatford and Lavenham.

Day 4: At leisure in Ipswich.

Day 5: We return to the Midlands after a leisurely breakfast.
